Astronomy Night

  • Coca Cola Space Science Center 701 Front Avenue Columbus, GA, 31901 United States (map)

You’re invited to the Coca-Cola Space Science Center as part of our series of free Astronomy Nights for 2025!

We’ll begin at 6 p.m. in our Omnisphere Planetarium, with Dr. Rosa Williams pointing out current constellations and bright objects in the evening skies. Weather permitting, at 6:45 pm, we will move outside to telescopes on our South Lawn to view the Waxing Gibbous moon. Other night sky objects will also be visible, and we will try to find harder objects as the night progresses while showing our WestRock observatory off to those interested. Other than our moon being visible this night, we will also be able to see Mars through our telescopes.
