The Columbus Cup

Join us on Saturday, April 12th, for The Columbus Cup at Waveshaper Island from 10am to 2pm. This freestyle kayak competition will select the Columbus Cup winners and award over $10,000 in cash prizes. Paddlers may use a kayak or a canoe. The K1 field includes $2,000 for the winner, $1,500 for the second, and $1,000 for the third. The Junior division has a minimum field of 5 participants for both men and women. The prize money includes $500 for the first, $250 for the second, and $100 for the third. The fourth and fifth-place finishers for both divisions will receive a swag bag from Whitewater Express.

The competition will include a mandatory competitor meeting. The schedule will be released before the event, pending confirmation on water flows.

Registration fees are $25 per athlete.
