Vice President Operations


WE ARE HIRING FOR THE B.I.D.

Uptown Columbus BID seeks person to lead, direct, plan, organize, and oversee safety and cleaning programs for the district. Responsibilities include hiring, training and managing a 12 member team to address public space issues in the district.

The position will lead and present items to the BID Board of Directors and serve as the primary contact for property owners and merchants. Duties also include coordinating with law enforcement, addressing safety needs, and overseeing remediation of public space deficiencies. Also responsible for monitoring special events and sustaining the Uptown playground, splashpad, and other river assets.

Must demonstrate ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and workers, be detail oriented, and tactful. Existing knowledge of Uptown is highly desired. Candidates must also be in good physical condition and able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Requires 7 years of experience in facilities management or public safety, including at least 3 years as a crew supervisor. High school diploma mandatory; college preferred.

Compensation is up to $100,000 annually. Competitive benefits package.
